Seaweed Page Progression

Here's the pencil, ink, and color for page 4 of my graphic novel "Seaweed". The pencil and inks are done by hand and then colored in Photoshop. I've had a lot of requests from friends who have seen the completed pencil version of the book, to publish it as is. I definately will along with the tons of studies and thumbnails, but I really want to try to finish a fully inked and colored comic. I don't have much experience with color, so it is an exciting challenge to try using it more. Also, I haven't included the word baloons and lettering which I'm going to do on the computer. I found a great font that I bought off of Blambot.com that looks much better than my cruddy hand-lettering.

Title Cards

Here's a collection of some of the title cards for Danny Phantom. I get to design these as well as draw the type and come up with the funky 50's horror movie poster sayings. They were then cleaned up in Illustrator by Ray Leong. I wish I could take credit for the color but that was handled by Honore Gauthier, George Taylor, Bob Boyle, and George Goodchild.

Elephant

Here's an old drawing I found of an elephant I did for Cinderella2 "Dreams Come True". This is about 6 years old. I don't think he made it into the video.

Mildew

Here's Mildew the Bat from my comic "Seaweed". My wife, Becca, made me this kickin' Mildew plush to help inspire me to finish the book.

Seaweed Roughs and Studies

Here are some initial roughs for panals of my comic, "Seaweed." Production was going great, but has been slowed down due to an insane amount of freelance work. I'm still hoping to get it in print by the end of 2006.

Phantom Horses

Here are a couple Designs I did for Danny Phantom. The winged horse was for the Halloween episode, "Fright Before Christmas" and the other designs are Youngblood the Kid and his skeleton horse who never got a name. They appear in the episode, "The Fenton Menace."
