I can't wait to see more of your boards. I saw an early screening of this film on Ringling's campus, and I am really, REALLY looking forward to it. I'll be there opening night for sure!
Wohoo! Could you please give us a little sneak peak at the new Seaweed book? I'm dyin' ova here! ;)
cool
dragon is spectacular I must say. I formerly worked for DreamWorks and find that I am overly critical of them. But the film was really good, just like Panda. I think the key element is having Nico design the characters.
Dragon is a really great film!! I got to go to the friends and family screening, it's really something special. I can't wait to see the stuff you post.
Hey Ben,
We meet the the CTN Expo - I was the guy from Australia and we spoke about the NBA games I was going to.
Can't wait to see some updates on the next Seaweed Book!

What a beautiful drawing. Bravissimo, man.
Hey Ben,
Saw How to Train Your Dragon last night and was totally blown away by not only the great visuals, but what I think is easily the best story that Dreamworks has told (and would be happy to say is up there with the best Pixar and Disney films).
Well done!
Michael
Rad dude!! Can't wait to see the film and your work from it! Did you do character design?
Thanks everyone!
Mukpuddy- I was part of the story team on this one. Nico Marlet was the genius behind the characters with some assistance from Chris Sanders and Tony Siruno.
haha, you saw my comment, no disrespect to you, love your work and just eager thats all!

Just saw it tonight. Awesome. I'll definitely be seeing it again and again. Great job.
This drawing convinces me that having a hammer instead of a hand is not only badass, but only an improvement.
Congrats on the film. Amazing stuff! Really really inspiring.
Great job on Dragon! I just re-read Seaweed and it's just so good! I was laughing out loud a couple times on the walk in to work. That book is a mighty tough thing to walk and read at the same time but somehow I managed. Worth the effort!
Seen the movie and I absolutely fell in love with it. Love your work, keep it up!!!!
Love the Viking character designs for this movie. One of Dreamworks' best stories so far.
What a beautiful drawing. Bravissimo, man.
