Here are some designs done to give the storyboard artists something to work from. I always enjoyed adding some color, but it was never really followed. These are all pencil and marker on animation paper. The design for Technus 3.0 made it all the way through the board pitch for the episode, "Identity Crisis" but then it was realized that the design didn't work for what needed to happen in the story. Whoops, should have read the script I guess.

ReplyDeleteThanks flutopia and yavuz. The Black Ghost was the shadow of a ghost named Johnny 13. Johnny was designed by Silver so I didn't include him in the picture. Instead of making his shadow look like Johnny's normal human-esque ghost body I based it a little off of a manta ray.

ReplyDeleteReally dig these Danny Phantom designs! I think think this is my favorite desing if Technus 3.0 by far. Also dig the Ghostecutioner's skull axe, besides that he's one bad ass ghost!
