Andy Mangels has put together a charity event benefiting domestic violence shelters in the Portland and New Jersey areas. The event is called Wonder Woman Day and it's now in its third year. There's some outstanding art being auctioned off and you can check it all out at this link:

This is such a cool event. I was never much of a Wonder Woman fan but if the comic was more like your entry I would have been a loyal follower. Communist chimps and a raptor? Sign me up.

ReplyDeleteI just bought Seaweed 1 and love it. Your work is truly inspiring, and I thank you for the advice in the back of the book on technique. I hope to put to good use. I've been working on a graphic novel story this year that's one page from completion and it's been quite an undertaking after work hours as I'm sure you know. I wish you all the success with Seaweed, you deserve it! I look forward to the devils cookbook. Just curious how long did Seaweed 1 take to do? I too wondered what a dunderhead was...ACDC rocks.
ReplyDeleteNICE!!
ReplyDeletePeace,
Joe y Elio
