Bar in a Boat
Here's another panel from my up-coming book "Seaweed." This is the interior of "the Salty Sugar", (Seaweed's boat). Seaweed had no use for cabins on board so he replaced them with a full bar complete with a trusty bar tender, "Gimlet." As well as an obvious Disneyland tribute there's a small homage to the great Herge from my favorite "Tintin" story.

I'm like a broken record. It's still not done. I just finished coloring page 23, (out of 64 pages that are all drawn.) I've given up predicting when it'll be done but I'm hoping by early next year. That's great your going to be at the con! Is it your first time? If so, you'll be drunk with geeky fun!

Just love de Tintin reference, is my favorite cartoon and comic book character. The sign "Thar be no place like home" is also very funny and nice. And what more can i say ? The perspective the furniture and all the objects of the environment is just great, cozy is the word.

Awesome, awesome! Can't wait for the book! I was wonderin, what kind of markers do you use when you color some of your sketches? Copic? (I know for things like this comic, you're using photoshop) I've used prisma colors but they're just so darn saturated. I really like the look you can get out of whatever you're using.

wolfboy- I never got around to drawing my team but when I get some time I'll give it a shot. Yah I was playing Ultimate Alliance on my X-Box 360. I didn't realize Moon Knight was exclusive to that platform. Lucky me! :)

Chris- Yah, I bought a full set of Copic markers about a year ago. They rule supreme over all other wimpy markers.
