is fully drawn and ready to be inked and colored. I can't say for sure yet how long this will take but I thought I'd show one of the blue line pages just for fun.
I've gotten some amazing reviews for "The Cure for Mildew" including this one by Jerry Beck on Cartoon Brew:
Thank you so much for the comment. You are the Ninja Master of the Universe. Your art is amazing and I appreciate that you are sharing it with everyone!
Just a bit of advice... when giving an interview, either try to sneak the website in, or ask if they'll add it to the article at the end. I tried searching, and found it by accident. (CBR's title didn't hit.)
Gonna order a copy, because I love when animators draw comics! (Jeff Smith, Bruce Timm, Stephanie Gladden, Doug TenNapel, Walt Kelly...)
Oh, and your technique of using two boards per page? Carl Barks might have invented that. The other secret technique from Disney comics? All sentences end in "?" or "!" That stems from the olden days, when printers would mistake periods for burrs and scrape them off the printing plates! It makes the story more dynamic, too! (See?)
Hi! I'm currently a storyboard artist and character designer at Disney TV working on Wander Over Yonder! I just finished a 6 year run as a story artist at DreamWorks were I boarded on How To Train Your Dragon among other movies. I'm an Emmy Award winner for my character designs on "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends". I've worked as a storyboard artist and character designer at Nickelodeon on Danny Phantom, and a character designer at Disney TV for too many projects to list. I've been nominated for 7 Annie Awards and have recently self published my first graphic novel: "Seaweed, and the Cure for Mildew." All work is is a copyright of me unless it's for some studio I'm working for.
