Annie Nomination #5!
Hey all! I've been nominated for an Annie Award for the 4th year in a row and for my 5th time! (Although I haven't won one yet.) I got real lucky to have guys like Butch Hartman and Bob Boyle teach me about storyboarding and I had one of the best times of my life working on Danny Phantom. Here's the Cold Open to the board I'm nominated for.
Congrats, Ben. Really dig your work. The animation industry's lucky to have you on board... Annie or no Annie. When is the book coming out? Did I miss it?

ReplyDeleteeric- Thanks! No you didn't miss the book yet. I should be sending the files to the printer in a few weeks. It'll take about 3 months to print and deliver them so maybe by early April?

The annie nom doesn't surprise me at all. These boards are absolutly incredible, so tight, I can only hope to draw this well someday.

ReplyDeleteWow Ben. These boards are a bible. I'm teaching a storyboard class next quarter, and I just love that students have this kind of resource to see what level the professionals are achieving. Great stuff.
