I've been swamped recently with a few fun projects but of course I won't be able to post anything for quite some time. In the mean time I dug up some drawings from "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends".
Captain Mayflower was just a random Friend in the house. I'm going to try and reuse him sometime in Season 6.
Here's just a sampling of people on the show. The Security Guards never got used.
These were illustrations in a pattern book from the episode, "Say it Isn't Sew."
Amazingly Cool!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!t

ReplyDeleteThese are amazing Ben! I've been following your work for a while and it is truly inspiring. Old people are always a fun subject to draw and you definitely have some great characters here.

ReplyDeleteGreat Ben. Beautiful jobs from talented artists like you, make me love art each day more. The cops and the others designs is great, but my favorite is the 5th girl, the non colored one. His 50's/vintage look, with this hair, eyes... everything. Beautiful. I really love the art from that time.

ReplyDeleteI think of all those incidentals, I've only had one held shot of one old man. I really like the fashion ladies you designed! Did you turn in Captain Mayflower all colored up like that??? Now I have to go hunt him down in the episodes...

ReplyDeleteGreat designs with lots of interesting shapes. You're pretty generous with what you post. You don't usually see alot of model sheets on the net until years after the production.
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful. Staring at your "Say it isn't sew" girls was my lunchtime entertainment. Your art goes well with my Thai leftovers.
