Old Giraffes
I've been swamped doing art that I won't be able to post for awhile and since I don't have anything new I thought I'd at least throw up this old page of giraffe drawings. These are marker and pencil on animation paper.
god... I don't even know what to say anymore. "Brilliant" is an understatement. Also good luck at the anni's (you're probably sitting there with sweaty palms right now!).
Giraffes are always such amazingly silly creatures to draw- I love the way you've captured them! And, I dig the abstract pattern on the giraffe on the left. Cool.
Any plans to go to WonderCon this weekend? If you do swing by, please stop by the Small Press section for a visit. I'll have a table with Kyle Neswald and Joe Olivares- just look for the banner with the BIG HAND. Hope to see you there!
Hi Ben! Nice giraffes! I really like the one which is sticking its tongue out. I forgot that they have a blue tongue. And that they always seem to wear mascara. Anyway, I think they are REALLY beautiful.
Beautiful work! I love the pattern and colors of the giraffe on the left especially. I'm so happy I found your blog!
