Off to Portland.
I'll have to take a break posting for a bit as I move to Portland, OR to begin a new job at Laika, as a character designer on "Jack and Ben". Nickelodeon, and particularly the Danny Phantom crew has been an absolute dream to work for over the close to 4 years that I've been there. I can only hope Laika will be as good. I hear good things from Shannon, Shane, Andy and of course Ovi, who has worked there for awhile now. If anything it'll be fun to be around those guys. Portland is also supposed to have some good micro-breweries which I'll be checking out ASAP! Time to start growing a ponytail and wearing flannel.

Portland is a good place to live! I used to live there for 15 years...it's too bad I live in Minnesota now, or I'd gladly show you around!
I hope you end up in San Diego in July...I'd like to have a chance to actually speak with you.

Wow, I lived there for 7 years before moving to LA. One word Rain. Hope you enjoy it there.

Oh, Ben! Just read this--pretty late on my part, but hey--CONGRATS! And have a great time! It's a beautiful city and I'll bet you'll have a fantastic time up there. Hope you're having fun up there:) Just realized you're working with Jorgen Klubien on his movie. I'm a big fan of his work, both animation and music. I might have to try my luck and send my portfolio to Laika:) Portland looks like a nice place to be.

All IS going well. Portland is awesome and "Jack and Ben" is going to be fantastic. I'll try to start posting more now that I'm settled in to my new house and my new job.
Hans, your correct: Jorgen is a stud, especially at story. Working with him is pretty bad ass!
sushipajamas, Yes, Danny Phantom is ending. Butch just finished writing the last episode. It's sad but it had a good run.
