Hi! I'm currently a storyboard artist and character designer at Disney TV working on Wander Over Yonder! I just finished a 6 year run as a story artist at DreamWorks were I boarded on How To Train Your Dragon among other movies. I'm an Emmy Award winner for my character designs on "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends". I've worked as a storyboard artist and character designer at Nickelodeon on Danny Phantom, and a character designer at Disney TV for too many projects to list. I've been nominated for 7 Annie Awards and have recently self published my first graphic novel: "Seaweed, and the Cure for Mildew." All work is is a copyright of me unless it's for some studio I'm working for.

I just get a kick out of your designs, all solid and full of appeal.
your work so kicks ass ben, your designs are soo streamlined, it's never a regret to put you on anyone's watchlist of blogs..keep it up!
Beautiful work. Reeally beautiful work. I love this blog and your portfolio on your site, but whatever happened to Crash Nebula? I saw the intro cartoon on FOP, but wasn't there supposed to be a bigger launch for a series? Did it just not go, or is it still percolating somewhere?
I'm guessing it's crashed itself, since Nick would be stupid not to give you a trillion dollars to stay with it.
Hi Ben, just want to say your artwork is inspiring to me. Really like this character, it has very appealing shapes!
yeah i have to agree with everyone. that's really great stuff. the bug trooper made me laugh.
Hey Ben,
I worked at Nickelodeon Creative Resource in 2003-04 and I remember getting a hold of a Crash Nebula model packet. At last a real model packet I told my self. God it was such a joy to draw these guys. Nick said Butch had to many things going on so they put it on the shelf. Any way,,,,thanks.

So stylish love the blk and the break down is superb and helpful killa work bro!!!
Wow, you should do a how-to-draw book. Solid.
...great construction page...Love the Bug Trooper...funny
Many Thank Yous to all for the nice comments!
Tom- Crash Nebula started as an F.O.P. episode and at one point was going to be developed into its own series. At the time Butch was heading up Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom was in its early development. There were rumers that Crash might be made in place of Phantom but it got focus tested and did terrible. Rather then shelve it completely, they still air it as an F.O.P. episode from time to time.
r.dress-That's cool! Glad you liked drawing them even for a short time. My good buddy Steven Silver Co-developed the look of this show with me. Maybe he'll post some of his designs on his blog at some point.
You and Stephen Silver are like the cream of the milk, you both rise to the top. Man.... how I would love to see that Nebula model packet. Thanks again for showing us your talents Ben.
Breathtaking
